  • Author: Christopher Scott

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups fresh fruit (e.g., mixed berries, orange segments, apple slices, melon cubes, or grapes)
  • Optional: A sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of honey for the fruit
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Instructions

1. Boil the Eggs

  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water by about 1 inch.
  2. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer for 9-12 minutes, depending on your preferred level of doneness:
    • 9 minutes for a slightly creamy yolk.
    • 12 minutes for a fully set yolk.
  3. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let them cool for at least 5 minutes. Peel and slice or serve whole.

2. Prepare the Fruit

  1. Wash and prepare the fresh fruit. Arrange it on a plate or in a bowl.
  2. Optionally, sprinkle with cinnamon or drizzle with honey for added flavor.

3. Serve

  1. Plate the peeled hard-boiled eggs alongside the fresh fruit.
  2. Sprinkle the eggs with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately.
